St. Phillip’s Escalator were formed by guitarist/vocalist Ryan Moore, drummer Zachary Koch, and bass guitarist Noel Wilfeard in their hometown of Rochester, New York. The band instantly became a crowd favorite with their unique and fervid take on psychedelia and blues; easily climbing atop the wave of the garage rock revival movement of the mid-2000s, all while barely being out of their teens.
